Over flight cenotes on the way to Chichen
What to expect when overflying the jungle while visiting Chichen Itza by plane or helicopter

When going by air to Chichen you will see many things, from highways, all green jungle, animals, birds, houses, and the most important, cenotes. I say more important as cenotes are fascinating water spots, which can be seen from your window. You know is a cenote because it looks like a lake. We have just a few lakes are, but if you see one in the middle of the jungle, it is a cenote, not a lake. You might see animals near the cenote, drinking water.
In Chichen itza, near by, you will visit a big cenote, with huge infrastructure. On this place you will be able to eat lunch and drinks some beers. After swimming in the cenote there will be showers to bath.
I recommend to go to a different cenote in Riviera Maya. There are all kind of them in “La Ruta de los Cenotes”, which is a highway where you can find many many of them, each one with different amenities, zip lines, diving platforms, restaurants, local animals different than dogs or cats, more like foxes and owls. 7 Bocas is one of my favorites, cause has 7 entrances to the main cenote, 7 mouths (boca in Spanish)
